| The Madalena Parish combines the beach, the countryside and the city. The local large sandy beach, with some rocky areas and calm sea, is complemented by wooden walkways which are attractive options for biking or long promenades. It is conveniently located near shopping and entertainment facilities. Visit the pier area in Vila Nova de Gaia and watch the sunset over the river, just like a postcard. From Serra do Pilar Monastery, that seems to impose itself on the houses, one can enjoy a magnificent view of the city of Oporto, of the Gaia coast road and of the Douro River. <br><br><br> |
