Foz do Arelho, 8 km from the city of Caldas da Rainha, is bordered to the north by the Atlantic and to the south by Lake Óbidos. The campsite is located in the tourist area of western Portugal, in the midst of nature and with beautiful iodized beaches of fine golden sand. It has commercial services, a swimming-pool and holiday and weekend accommodation. The region is rich in interesting places. You can visit its historical heritage, which includes the thermal hospital, churches, chapels and museums, see its traditional ceramic-ware or the beautiful landscapes of the beaches in Foz do Arelho and Salir do Porto. You can also play sports on Lake Óbidos, the largest and most enchanting lake on the Portuguese coast, or go trekking in Paúl de Tornada, the nature reserve on Berlenga island - the only marine reserve in the country, in the Serra do Socorro or in the Serra de Montejunto Natural Park.
