| São Jacinto is located between the Aveiro lagoon (Ria de Aveiro) and the Atlantic coast, and is mainly characterized by its pinewood, which gives an unforgettable tranquility, the reason for which Orbitur campsite is considered to be a campsite that really is in the middle of nature. Just in front of the campsite, the lagoon is an attractive spot for bathing and water sports. The coastal beach is located only 20 minutes walk and took a prize in the” most accessible beach” awards. Part of the extensive beach and line of dunes are integrated in the São Jacinto Dunes Nature Reserve, a protected area where one can walk through the signed paths and savour the unique fauna and flora. |
